In December 1998 I bought my first motorhome, a 1978 Volkswagen LT28 and I used it until April 2010. At that time I decided it was time for something newer and bigger. I bought a used Weinsberg Meteor (type 542) on a Fiat Ducato 290 chassis. It was built in 1992 and accomodates up to 5 people. The dimensions are: length 5.7 m, width 2.2 m, height 3 m. The engine is a Fiat 8144.67 2500cc diesel (55 kW, 75 pk). MTPLM is 3100 kg.

It's a conventional Fiat Ducato based camper with extended chassis. There are separate batteries for engine and living space. The fresh water tank holds 80 l, size of the wast water tank unknown. There is storage space for two 11 kg gas bottles. These are combined with a Truma Duomatic-L device. The entrance door is dividable and has a fly curtain.
